thank yoooooo

Hi there!

Bad blogger here again! I'll forewarn you that it's only going to get worse as Christmas approaches - can't believe it's only 25 days!

But, now that that's said and done, here is a thank you post, albeit a couple days late.

Instructions: Trim and score card base. Cut out patterned papers, and adhere together, Sew yellow paper to blue paper. Stamp image onto blue paper, and paper piece. Use gel pen for stars. Tie bow around patterned papers, top with button, and adhere to base. Stamp sentiment, cut out and adhere to base.

Thank yoooooo for reading this blog
Thank yoooooo for leaving comments, even when I can't always return the favor right away
Thank yoooooo for sharing your wonderful projects with me and the rest of the world
Thank yoooooo for the friendship! :)

Lots of hugs, and have a wonderful day!

Pearly Thanks

Hello there!

Today's card was made using a SSC Stamp and Scrap challenge, which I can't quite recall the details of, except that it was a recipe. I had never tried a recipe before, but seriously, this was SO easy and fun. I mean, really fun.

Instructions;
Print out the flower on red cardstock three times; one for base, and two for petals, then using Sakura gel pen, added a little detail. Cut out the two strips of Thrift Shop paper, and sewed them together. Stamped the sentiment onto the bottom half, and added the half pearls. Cut out the Nestabilities shapes, and add the flower. Tied the ribbon around the cardstock. Distress.

Sorry the photo is so poor - I took this a month or two ago, when I was still trying to figure out how to work the camera without the macro option (which is for some annoying reason, not working very well!)

Before I go, I want to say thanks to each and every one of you who left comments on my last post - they really do make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. :)

Enjoy your day!

Birthday bubble

Hello!

So, I've had an exhausting past two weeks in everything except scrappin' - I've been chillin' and rollin', making some cards I can't wait to show you. :)

The third card (the others will be shown soon enough ;)) I made using the kraft paper my AWESOME DT boss Judy sent me...

No ribbon - how weird is that for me? I was really tempted to add it in there somehow, but just...let it go. ;)

I used the Moxie Fab sketch, Lucy's challenge, and was totally inspired by THIS card by Mariana Grigsby.

I cut out the Cosmo Cricket image, sewed it, and attached it to a little folder I cut free hand. Then embellished the image and folder, and put the entire decorated piece on top of THIS fun digi by Hero Arts. Easy peasy. :)

Now something I want to talk with you about; it's getting to be that time of year where school is finishing/piling up, and that means volleyball is finishing up, which means more practices and tournaments. Thus, the exhaustion and the missing of many good things made by all my dear bloggy friends. :( Hopefully once summer gets here, I'll be able to get back on track and share some of the love that I have been blessed with. :)

Thanks for sticking around!

Smile - it's your birthday!

Hello!

Thanks for all the sweet words yesterday - they made me smile and laugh. :)

Today I want to share with you the card I made for my awesome DT boss/friend, Judy!

I, having the uncreative mind I have, used last weeks Practical Scrappers challenge as a source of inspiration - markers! Though you might not be able to see, I use white around the edges...which looks kinda creamy in the picture.

I LOVE rainbows, and I had these cute little stickers lying around, but the best way I could think of using them is on a CAS card. I mean, after all, a rainbow already has all the colors, so why add more? ;)

Anyways, I shall be missing here for awhile - I have a volleyball tournament I'm going to in Philly, and we'll be gone for Sunday and come back VERY late Monday. So, if you want to say a little prayer that my team does well, I'd appreciate it! :)

Oh, and, check THIS out - excited much!!

Tweet-heart

Hello!

I finally have a card to share with you! ;) However, it's a pretty "old" card (as in, made it a month ago old), though the first, and currently only, card I have using my new set of HA stamps that the fabulous Charlene so generously gave me.

I am a bad little girl; Charlene sweetly sent me the HA stamp set about four or five weeks ago, and I didn't get the thank you out till about a week or two ago! :( Eek!
But, now that it's out, I can share it with you...

This set is SO "tweet", but I am having the hardest time using it...oddly, that's always the case with me and a new HA set for a couple days/weeks.
For inspiration, I turned to one of last months SSC challenge - S-P-R-I-N-G!

And now, for a contest my friend Arielle is having - "Show us your scrap space". She wants us to "Take a picture, be honest - are you messy like me or super organized?" I think she fully realizes what she's asking, so I will not hold back and complain...;)

Here is my space, in all its glory

aaaand, picture after major cleaning

Needless to say, I am a MESSY scrapper! I don't even know how I can work around such chaos, but somehow, it happens! Anyways, it's a work in progress, and I've actually already cleaned out some of my stuff already and will have more on the way.

So how about you hopping on over to her blog and participating? I mean, if I can do it, you can definitely do it! Besides, there's a little candy up for grabs...come on, you know you want to! ;)

Thanks for stopping in!

Oh Snap!

Hello!

Sorry I haven't posted lately - I've been having some problems with my mojo...you'll get the full story on that later. ;)

So, when I first found out I was a digi designer for Vinnie Pearce, I went crazy trying to make something right away. Not a good idea. First off, I had never printed digital paper before, though I had admired some designs. Secondly, I didn't know how to get the design to print cleanly. And lastly, it's never a good idea to force yourself to make something.

And so, without further ado, my first design for Vinnie Pearce, from her brand new collection "Toy Box",...

I would love this so much more if I had printed the designs right! But I am feeling much better, and actually, enthusiastic, about the digital paper now that I know how to print it right. :)

That pretty much sums up my mojo lately - fuzzy. ;)

Thanks for stopping in!

Have a wonderful day

Hello!

Just quickly sharing with you my take for my challenge, which you can view HERE (my fav crafty things are ribbon and stamps).
Also inspired by Caardvarks (I was inspired by the branch in the one cage), 2S4Y, Crafty Calender, Paper Play, and the Quixotic Challenge,

I am determined to use EVERY single HA stamp I have within the next month...or two. I only have two sets, but I'm more partial to one stamp than another, so I have set myself this challenge.

Anyways, thanks for stopping in, and have a wonderful day!
