A vintage Christmas

Hi there!

You may think I'm getting a bit ahead of myself by the title, but seriously, September is the very latest to start making cards for Christmas!

This card was made with this week SSC Card Challenge in mind - it's a color challenge, but the colors don't have to be used just for Christmas! You can find the challenge HERE.

Instructions: Cut and score base, and cut out patterned papers from catalog (yes, I took these from a Websters Pages catalog - they were the perfect fit!). Adhere papers to base. Tie bow around papers, and adhere button on top. Adhere distressed doily and image to base.

Worked on this post while baking brown bag cookies (basically, chocolate cookies with oats and rice krispies, making for an extra delicious cookie!) for my brother, who is living in Wisconsin right now while he goes to college. His birthday is tomorrow, and he loves these cookies, so thought I'd whip some up and pack them off...well, actually, 'whip' them up is kind of an understatement, as one batch is enough to keep you in the kitchen for at least four hours - and that's with the help of everyone else (by eating the dough...ha!)!

Anyways, have an awesome day, and thanks SO much for stopping in! :)
