Hey there!

Got a card made using the Card Patterns and CPS sketch - been a while since I played in either, but here I am now! ;)

My take, made for Cards for Kids...

I used my new Prima "Mommy and Me" rub-ons; they're just too darn cute, I couldn't resist buying them immediately, but now I can't seem to think of card that they would look really nice in. This card is okay with the rub-on...

So, using a circle template, I cut the Girl Friday paper, sewed it onto another sheet of Girl Friday paper, and "scribbled" on the card to make it more appealing to a kid. Tied a nice little bow, attached a button, and threw that and the rub on together for the finished product.
So, not quite as CAS as I like it, but I had to sew something and this was all I could come up with at the time being. ;)

Hello! How do you like the new look? ;)

Got a couple cards to share with you today; first up is the card I kept blabbing about yesterday...

Ha-ha! The bow has been conquered! I have mastered it to make it do my bidding! Mwahahaha!...anyways, moving on...;)

 I made this card for CPS (sketch #135), the Etsy Inspired challenge - first time participating, and I just could not help it when I saw Gypsy Roses's bag...

I knew at once what paper and what I wanted to do for this challenge...

I'm tellin' ya, this "Everafter" line is just fantabulous! I'll probably just hoard it for awhile, but I could not resist making it after seeing this post...she also had a handy link for making that bow. This is the first wedding card I've made...I don't really need one, but I just felt like it...oh, and by the way, the sentiment was printed up (using the "Mr. Wade" font from Kevin and Amanda) on my computer because I don't have any wedding related stamp sentiments.

Now for the other card I made before this one...not too happy with it, but as I was reading on another HA gals blog, what I may not like, another person may go ga-ga over. I don't know how or why, but if they like it, all is well with me. :)

My Lil' Ol' Froggy

Hey, all! So here's the latest card;



Also based off the CPS sketch, but I made this one, not my sister. Personally, I like hers better, but I still think my "Lil' Ol' Froggy" is pretty darn cute. Don't you?
Now, I gotta let you know something. I posted my first froggy card on flikr, and when I posted the close-up it was all blurry. I simply could not figure out how to get detail to show on the pictures. Anyways, some one posted something about a button on the camera, that usually had a flower beside it, that is meant for picking up detail. Well, I checked it out, and guess what? It works! Yeah! So now you can expect cleaner, more detailed pictures from me in the future. :D

I am so excited because tonight I'm going to play REAL volleyball for three straight hours. I mean, how awesome is that?! Oh, and before I go, my sisters and I are going to beat our brothers in outside volleyball...again. lol They have yet to win a series.
