...no see!
I'm just popping in with an old CARDS February '12 pub, and a bit of news.
First, the card; I had accidentally messed up this yellow batch of ribbon, but I had to stick it somewhere. This card ended up being the victim....this is one of those cards that I have to tell myself not to get frustrated with because it's not turning out perfect. Cardmaking is supposed to be done for the fun of it, and while I don't really care how this card turned out, I did have fun thinking 'this cards not perfect...and I don't care!' ;)
Funny thing: my younger sister always likes the cards that I'm not perfectly satisfied with. This works out for the benefit of both parties - she gets the unloved card, and I get the unloved card out of my way!
Had to have my glitter. ;)
The ugly yellow ribbon, along with some fresh green.
So, the tad of news; I've just started my sophomore year at Franciscan University of Stuebenville, and I am again playing for their volleyball team. Between school, home and volleyball, I don't have a whole lot of time for blogging or even making cards. As a fair warning, the posting on this old blogaroo with be sporadic at best (as if you haven't already seen that ;)), so, I'll see ya when I see ya!
God bless!

I don't think your yellow ribbon is ugly! This is a lovely card!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes as you start another year of schooling, Clare!
I love that yellow ribbon Clare, I love that it has various shades! Good luck with the new school year and enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteI really like your yellow and green mixed bow! Steubenville? Ohio? Near Dillonvale? We've had family reunions there (my grandmother's father's family settled there when they left Europe).
ReplyDeleteThe yellow ribbon looks fresh and summery, just like the pretty butterflies!! Best of luck to you in school Clare. My hubby and I hear about this university on EWTN all the time! Now I know someone who goes there!! Take care and we'll see you when you have crafting time ;)
