....then it involves an artist

Hello!

Well, you know how a few days back I complained about not being able to figure out how to make a card with a paperclip? Problem solved...for the time being. ;)

For Pixie Cottage and Crafty Ann...

Supplies: K&Company paper, Making Memories "Chloes Closet" paper, Making Memories "Vintage Findings" paperclip, twine, chipboard.

Not sure which photo take I like better...you tell me. ;)

Unfortunately, I'm not really satisfied (figures) - I just don't think it's very creative. Besides, I've got loads of just plain ol' colored paper clips, while I have a few decorative ones like this Making Memories one. If you think you've got a good idea, and wouldn't mind sharing for a chance to win some goodies, head over here.

My sister from Austria came home last night - she won't really show us that much though...we have to wait until Christmas. I'm not sure what I'd like better; getting surprised on Christmas, or sneaking into her bedroom to find out. But, no need to worry, I won't try to find out - I'm sure she's hidden them well. ;)

And now, after just finishing reading an link I found on Cathy A's blog, I would like to make a little shout-out here; check out Cards for Kids. I know that I've got loads of card lying around gathering dust, but the problem is, I take forever to mail things out. Seriously, I have packages lying on my desk that I can't even remember what's in 'em and what they're for! So I decided to contribute in a different way (for the time being); for another chance to win my blog candy...

make a card for one of the kids at Jennifer's blog. However, don't link a post with a card that you've already made a couple months or days ago. It must be dated after December 10th. It can be combined with other challenges, but the card/project/LO cannot be posted before the 10th. This is meant to increase the cards sent over to them. For example, you link up a card you made a month ago; that's not really helping the purpose of getting more cards sent out to them, thus the rule. I hope you understand. :)

Anyways, thanks for stopping by and leaving your sweet comments - I really do appreciate the time and thought you gals put into them. :)
