...to be a part of the Paper Smooches SPARKS Design Team!!

Here's the card that I made for the call...

Using the Party Posse stamp set, I stamped and heat embossed the sheep, and framed her with an inked-and-heat-embossed wooden frame. My older sister, who is a big fan of sheep (mostly for their wool ;)) and pink, appreciated this card. ;)

If you really look at it, you can see a small strip of brown on the left side of the frame - when I was stamping the sentiment, I hadn't cleaned the extra ink off my block, so it got on the paper. Luckily, it doesn't show up too much, or I would've had to cut the second sheet of this pretty patterned paper from Dear Lizzy.

I'm supposed to be writing my last two papers of the semester (can I get a HOORAH?!), but obviously, I thought it'd be way more fun to hang out here instead. ;)

Here's a card for Simon Says Stamp Thanks challenge, Sweet Stamps Thank You challenge and Tuesday Throwdown Gratitude challenge.

A bit of ink, a scrap of felt, and a patter of gems was all this card needed.

I can't usually pull off that neat clean-and-graphic-with-a-punch card, so I'm pretty proud of this card. :)

Now I'm going to vegetate on a couch and try and sit this silly sickness out.

Just a Note(set)

First off, can I just give a big THANKS for all the super sweet comments everyone has left me on the past couple posts?! Seriously, you peeps rock, and totally brightened up my super stressful school week. :)

This is for the Simon Says Stamp (Use a rubber or clear stamp), and The Kraft Journal (Bow) - it's a little Pooh card set! 

Decided to use some adorable old Pooh stamps I have, and combine it with some October Afternoon scraps and yummy wooden tags.  :)

Oh, before I forget, the winner of THIS little giveaway is Dawn Turley - Dawn, shoot me and e-mail and I'll mail out the stamps as soon as I can squeeze the time in!

I have one pretty big midterm this Friday, and a bunch of tough projects the next week, so if yinz could keep me in your prayers, I'd really appreciate it!

I don't know what it is with kraft, white, blue and red, but I love using them on cards (in a non-traditional way).

This Emma's Shoppe paper is so much fun - I added Glossy Accents to all the polka dots...I think I saw Kristina Werner doing it once with the Restoration line.

And those adorable Lawn Fawn chickies...
