Another dreamy card

Getting in one last post for January - the lack of posting recently hasn't been for lack of attention, but the fact that my next post is gonna be my 500th and I've never celebrated a post milestone yet, I wanted to make it special. ;)
This card is for the Constellations: Trendy Star Power Challenge in the Moxie Fab World - I'm actually not crazy about this card, but one of my artsy friends liked it better than some of my other cards I showed her, so I figured I'd post it.

I do love using my Tattered Angels mist's on cards, but I just couldn't get those dang stars to look perfectly imperfectly scattered - you know the feeling?
Also, I'm looking for one good stamp set that has one or two really large sentiments - any suggestions?

Thanks for stopping in!

Cardstock: Strathamore
Stamp: Papertrey Ink "For the Graduate"
Ink: Stazon, Tattered Angels, Memento
Other: gold embossing powder (Hampton Art), wood veneer (Studio Calico)

Tools: heat gun, paintbrush

  1. I was dreaming (Yes, Virginia does dream...) of making a card like this the other day. Sadly, I didn't quite make it...! Thanks to your work, I believe my dream has been achieved (by the talented you)!

  2. I love those stars...I think they look fantastic!

Not sure if this is what you are thinking of....but I'm loving this new stamp set!

  3. Oh, Clare! I'm glad you posted it!
    It's absolutely lovely!

  4. Congrats on your Moxie Fab win. Yours was my favorite of the cards picked.

  5. Clare, what a fantastic card! Congrats on your win at Moxie Fab!

Thank you so much for taking time to leave me a comment - it is always much appreciated. :)
