Birthday wishes

I haven't participated in an Embellish challenge lately, and I was getting kinda antsy to try one. The latest Embellish challenge finally motivated me to do just that - how can you resist THESE colors? If there was some blue in there, you'd have my favorite card color combo ever.

Wanted to take a better pic of this, but didn't have the chance, so you're stuck with this crummy image. ;)

I've been so bad with sentiments lately....just completely forgetting them until the end, then trying to squeeze them in somewhere. Oh, and see the subtle stamping in the background? I thought the white cardstock base was too white, so I stamped it lightly a couple times with Starburst Lace and some Tea Dye ink - love how it mimics the white/cream doily paper in the Emma Shoppe collection.

A lovely flower and cracked wooden button that I glued back together....

And those flowers, colored in with those trusty Prismacolor pencils - these do the job well enough, so I'm determined not to buy Copics...at least until I marry a billionare. ;)

Anyways, a quicky post to squeeze this in the challenge deadline - gotta get back to my family. :)
Have a blessed day!
