Yummilicous

Wanna see a yummy pic?

Told ya it was yummy. ;)
Besides being a very delicious looking picture, it's also very inspiring - just look at those fab napkins, and the fun color combo! I decided to make a card and envelope inspired by this trendy photo....

Love the mat (?) that the napkins, berry and bowl are on, so here's my take on that....

And the envelope (inside)...

Front....

See the brown pattern I have on the front of the envelope? I'll show you how I did that here...
(I did this same technique on the kraft cardstock on the card, but with Versamark ink, which is what I'm using in the photos)

Ink up tag....

Quickly press paper to tag...

And oila! Your own canvas like 'stamp'!

I hope you'll give this technique a try - I'd love to see what you come up with!

A unusual color combo

This...
....is not my typical go-to color comb for cardmaking. I'm more of a 'pink and blue' gal myself, but somehow, I fond myself strangely attracted to this bold color scheme. I decided to give it a go, and here are the results...

A chipboard house (inspired by the homey feel of the photo) covered with some yummy paper

Next up, a card I thought would do well to thank the host/hostess if I were ever invited to such a party. ;)

I admit, the second of the two is my favorite - I love the blue here, and the subtle debossed dots...

Thanks for stopping in with me today!
Have a blessed one!

It's ridonkulous

...how many drafts I have gathering dust when I could be sharing them with you - one hundred! So here's an oldy, using some yummy October Afternoon scraps. :)

I'm feeling a bit better now - thanks for the comments! Just got a bit of a cold now, but at least my throat doesn't hurt (...today).
Anyways, I was thinking about making a video (just because I'm in the video-taking mood), and I was wondering what to do it on. While it's more of a just-for-fun thing for me, if you would like to see anything just let me know. Here are a couple of my ideas; tour through my craft room/corner, video of me making a card (without planning anything - something to show my wack-a-doodle process), video of how I take my pictures, etc.
Well, thanks so much for stopping in and have a blessed day! :)

hello there

....how are things with you? I've been up to my knees in school, design team assignments, volleyball, and recently, sickness. So yeah, 'busy' would be putting it a bit mildly. ;) I've been so busy, I've only made one or two cards (and those only in the past couple days) in the past two or three weeks! Eeek! Anyways, just popping in to share a card I made quite a while back...

Nice and simple, with some of those yummy Jenni Bowlin butterflies...

I think I'll keep this post nice and simple as well - have a great day!! :)

scattering

....bits of loveliness all over this card....maybe it's overwhelming, but I don't care. It's World Card Making Day, and darn it, I wanted to share a card that makes me happy, even if it's too much for others. ;)
So anyways, a very happy WCMD to you!!

Heat embossed sentiment...I stamped this sentiment SO many times, in so many different ink color combos, that when I finally decided on the combo I wanted, I was too lazy to heat emboss it right. Yeah, even for a big hop-a-roo such as this. ;)

A yummy flower from Vio, and some little gem droplets from Theresa - a thing I love about papercrafters - so sweet and generous! I have many papercrafting buddies and companies to thank for a very large portion of my crafty stash, supporting me through their kind words and actual product. :)

I mainly made this card with this bloomer in mind....I love these things, and I have a nice little stash of them, but I don't use them often enough...

So that's my little post for today! I'm actually typing this up the night before (typical procrastination), but I wanted to have a little something ready. I was also planning on doing a giveaway, and taking a very delicious photo to tempt you all in to entering, but alas, I do not have such a photo lol. However, I'm still going to have a little giveaway - it'll include bits and pieces of the things I love to craft with best (which will probably include some of those neglected bloomers ;)) in honor of WCMD. Just leave a comment - if you follow me, leave another comment for another chance.

Thanks SO much for stopping in today and have a blessed (and very crafty!) weekend!
