I know, I'm not supposed to be here (it's still Lent - only a couple more days to go!), but I had a couple things to post.
It's been a crazy week, but I'll try to cut down most of it for this post, and share the rest after Easter.
GCD Studio's new monthly magazine, ThePaperCut, is now available for viewing! It's such an awesome first issue, and I know you'll love it. :)
Next, a card for the Moxie Fab World DIY Embellishments Challenge...
Tissue paper, random part of a wooden button (the center was missing), a pearl, a handcut postage-stamp-like frame and some handcut leaves make the focal point.
Now for some non-papercrafting news...
My Grandma on my Mom's side died the Tuesday before last. It was hard, but she had been struggling for about a year in a half now, so at least now she's found temporal relief.
Requiem Aeternam dona eis, Domine, et lux perpetuae luceat eis. Requiescant in pace. Amen.
Please pray for a family at our parish; their eight year old son had a very bad case of hooping cough, and had to be intibated. He is stable now, but yesterday evening, they had to rush their six month old daughter in an ambulance to the hospital, who has (we think) hooping cough as well, which is extremely dangerous condition for babies. This is such a terrible thing for any family to have to go through, especially with this being Holy Week. Please keep them in your prayers.
Have a blessed Holy Week!
ETA: Giveaway going on HERE.
That's really bad news Clare. I wish you "a day full of sunshine and smiles"
