...to you today! :)
I'm in here today to share a little diddy made with some Melissa Frances '5th Avenue' pad for this weeks SSC's card challenge - I've seen some forum posts with people wondering where the site went, so here's a little explanation;
Judy, the owner, had to close the site because of some serious recurring health issues. The reason it was shut down so suddenly was so that she wouldn't have to pay Nings fee for another month (which she wouldn't be able to use). Anyways, the card challenge group is still going, just at the blog now! So if you've already played in some of the challenges but lost your entry when the site was closed, go ahead and link it up again! Just make sure to pay attention to the details in THIS post. ;)
And now on to that card. :)
I'm sorry if the photos look funny to you - I'm on a new (faster!) computer now that I'm editing my photos on. This computers screen apparently makes the photos look darker to me, because Heidi told me my photos were overexposed last time I sent her an assignment with photos edited on this computer - whoops!
Gettin' dirty with acrylic paint and the stress-relieving ChipArt tool. I didn't really have a plan for this frame...I just wanted to paint and pound something! haha!
There is some pretty May Arts lace peeking out behind the ribbon, but it's on the left side, so you can't really see it from the angle I took my pictures. I dyed that lace light pink, and also dyed my tissue paper flower...guess I was just feeling adventures/messy that day!
That's it for me today - have a great one! :)

ReplyDeleteThe card is beautiful! It is very white and bright though, I was having problems like that with my other computer too because I had problems adjusting the brightness and contrast on the monitor screen. No big deal though, we can still see the details!
