It's a Good Day

...I have solved my dilemma of taking card pictures, with the notable exception of the card below.
But that's just 'cuz it has a funny border, and that makes it difficult to photograph anyways.

This card made for the MFT Color Challenge #14 - I didn't really have any of the cardstock colors except for navy, so watercolor it was. I kept looking at the screen to see if I was getting the combo right, but on further review, it looks like I didn't quite catch the spirit of Wild Wisteria. Ah well, you win some, you lose some.

Swing of Things

...it's hard to get back there. I tried taking photos this morning of all the cards I've made since I've been back from Austria, and wow, I must be missing something, because my camera was not having it! The photos looked completely narsty! So now I need to figure out a different way to photograph them...or at least remember how I was doing it before.

These flowers were left over from another card, so I put them together right here to make an easy and simple card. I zapped the sentiment with some Wink of Stella for that extra little zinger!

Absence

...makes the heart grow fonder - so you guys must love me even more when I come back from little breaks here and there, right? ;)

Today's card is an oldy - I was inspired in general by typography, so I pulled out a cheap-o dollar stamp I got at Joann's awhile back, and went to work.

The embossed sentiment is too light for easy reading - I might go back and use a mask to color an entire brown circle, so the sentiment is actually legible.
Pft, who am I kidding?! I'm way too lazy to do that.

Seriously love the texture of the paper here - I wish more companies did this.

...be to God! I'm not going to take the calculus class this semester! Although I will still have to take it in the summer...or next fall...blech.

This card involved some tricky die cutting - I had to keep the upper/lower part of the die off of the plate when die cutting, then do the same with the other side. With all that work, I just finished it simply with some enamel dots, Wink of Stella glitter on the sentiment (impossible to see in this picture) and some simple patterned paper.

Also, just wondering, but would any of you like me to be more specific with the product description? I used to give company name and product name, but I've gotten kinda lazy and just gone with company name recently. However, if you'd prefer, I can whip myself back into shape. ;)

...it's not my birthday anymore, but I can still post birthday cards!

I recently had a dermatology appointment, and they did a scar removal on my nose, resulting in me having to wear a band-aid on my nose for a week (changing for a fresh band-aid every day, of course). Anyways, my family and some friends have been asking about it, so I've been telling them it's the new hipster trend - tape on the NOSE, instead of the glasses. ;)
