little {heart} bug

Hope you all had a blessed Easter - I'm now back to my (hopefully) regular blog posting. :)

I made this card for a SSC Clean&Simple card challenge a few weeks back - love those sketches!
Used some adorable Prima rub-ons - no stamps on this card! Don't even ask me how that happened ;)

Well, just a short one today as I have loads to catch up on - school, work, blog hopping - so much to do, and so little time. I'm sure you know the feeling. ;)

Thanks for stopping in today!!

Sew nice

Just quickly popping in to share a March CARDS pub...

I was made this when I was on a run where I kinda stuck a bunch of pretty stuff together, and hoped it looked pretty! Ha! Actually....I'm still in that phase. Lol, oh well, moving on...

Instructions: Stick pretty stuff together.
How 'bout those instructions? Gotta be my shortest ever. ;) But seriously, those are the instructions!

Thanks for all the sweet comments the last few postings - still trying to catch up today! Thank goodness Lent will be over next week! This no blogging thing is driving me nuts! ;)

Thanks so much for stopping in today, and I hope you enjoy your weekend!

Happy wishes

...to you!
Thank goodness for scheduled blogging - I have so many cards I need to catch up on sharing with you!

Todays card was made for last weeks SSC Card technique challenge - sewing! I made a little tutorial on that HERE for those who were inquiring about my stitching. :)
Also, there are some new things going on around SSC - first we have a new sponsor (my shoppe, so if you've been wanting to try some goodies, enter the challenges for a chance to win!) and we have a new honors format. Check that out HERE.
Now on to the card...

This uses some paper and a doily from my new kit, and some pretty hand-dyed seam binding...shabby loveliness. :)

Hmmmm...I think that's pretty much it for now. Just be sure to check out the SSC card group today, as there will be a new challenge up, plus a featured card from last weeks challenge!

Thanks for stopping in and have a great hump day!

hello!

...how are ya? I'm doin' pretty well - the vacay (which was actually a volleyball tournament, but I counted it as a vacation because it was so fun) went really well, the computer is fixed (it broke down again on Thursday), and I'm in the middle of a pretty, shabby card now. :)
Right now though, I have a very clean and simple card to share with you.

Using Tiff's sketch - I was looking for some mojo, and found it (temporarily) in her awesome sketch! Thanks for the inspiration, Tiffany! Too bad white cards are so hard to get good photographs of. :(
The flower was cut out from some old Crate paper, and the sentiment...ah, that sweet sentiment. Comes from my very first Hero Arts set, so I'm very...well, sentimental about it. ;)

Hm....I think that's pretty much it for today. :)
Hope you have a blessed weekend!

You're sew nice

You really are.
Truly. :)

Pretty layers...that little piece of ribbon 'round the mannequin is why I save my precious ribbon scraps. :)

I just had to post this after all the sweet comments you left me over the week. You made me smile and beam so much....wish I could return the favor and send a card to each and every one of you (though it would probably take awhile to reach you, procrastinator that I am). A more realistic thing to do would be to leave some love at your blog, which I will attempt to do tonight...I have to hurry though because I get to go on a little vacay tomorrow - yay!

Now I'm going to enjoy my afternoon with a movie, a hockey game, some yummy food, my family, and maybe, just maybe, some papercrafting. ;)

Enjoy your weekend!!
