Hey all!
I'm sure you might be wondering why I haven't posted in awhile; simple, my camera has taken it's last shot. :( I don't know how long I'll be out...I'm waiting for my check to come from the local fair.
But, good news! Simply Scrapping is looking for some new Design Team members! Here's the link, except the call is open till the end of November.
Meanwhile, if you'd like to participate in our weekly sketch, go here. For more fun, join our online community!
Also, I'm thinking about having a giveaway here soon, so you might want to stick around. You may want to give me some ideas, such as "I'd love to see Making Memories included in the giveaway". ;)

{thanks}
I'm having such a fantastic day; volleyball with friends earlier today, and now we have some more friends coming over, bringing their adorable little twins along with them. :) Because of that, this will be another quick post...or, at least, I'll try to make it be...;)
Two cards for you today; one using this {whoops, forgot they were a Saturday blog, so last} weeks sketch...
Supplies: K&Company Tag Book, shimmer cardstock, white cardstock, Bazzil brown cardstock, Heid Grace alphabet stickers, ribbon.
And for this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch {whoops again! for some reason, instead of leaving it open till Sunday, she closed it on Thursday...:(...so now I'm late for both}...
Supplies: DCWV Eco Friendly {I think} paper, chipboard, ribbon, thread, Hero Arts "Tree, Birds and Messages", Bazzil brown cardstock, white cardstock.
Found the bird paper at my local craft store...fell in love with it at once and knew almost exactly what I wanted to do with it. I'll have to check out the rest of the stack...I also finally got some brown cardstock...it's funny, because it seems whenever I use cardstock, it's almost always brown...same way with ink a lot of times too.
I love the feel of Bazzil paper, and that's what the Eco Friendly's line is like...:)
Also wanted to say, thanks everyone for the sweet comments you left me yesterday! {hugs!}
Hope you're enjoying your day as much as I am!

Fabric Twist and Good Friends...
Hello, everyone! I hope you like the blogs new look!
So, I have an exciting announcement; I am now on Simply Scrapping's Design Team!!! Yay! Thank you Judy, and rest of the DT!!
For their sketch this week,
and the twist "use fabric", I made this card...
Supplies:
Making Memories "Chloes Closet", SU! white cardstock, ribbon, Sugarloaf sentiment, green ink, Souffle white pen.
I using the ribbon as the fabric at first, then Lesley told me ribbon didn't count. Oops! But everyone was really nice about it and said the paper looked like fabric, so it's all good. :)
Once again, thank you Tracy, because although I'd heard of it, I had never really thought about faux stitching until your post on Friday. I used that technique on this card; it really is handy, because it doesn't make the edge of the papers uneven when I glue them on the cardstock. Not to mention it's just fun for a change. ;)
If you feel like having a go to the sketch, then go to the link provided...there will be a total of four sketches, and the prize at the end of the month is...
A Basic Grey paper pad! Since I'm not too familiar with Basic Grey, I couldn't tell you what this line is called...
{I really hate taking pictures of cards that open from the side...pictures just look nicer opening up from the bottom}
Supplies:
K&Company "Berry Sweet", shimmer cardstock, SU! white cardstock, ribbon, kraft paper, Hero Arts "Tree, Birds and Messages", orange ink.
I haven't participated in a US sketch in a long time, but still, I have to say, there are my favorite sketch site because their DT is amazing! :)
Anyways, have a lovely day!
PS,
I know this blog post is rather long as is with all the photos, but, being a hockey fan, I just have to show you this!

How do you like it?
As you may notice, I changed the look of the blog!!! Yay!
The reason being I had seen another blog that had the same template, and, wanting to stand out a little, I got a new template. Also, I was bored with the old one. ;)
I'll be working on changing the size of the photos, since if they're too big with this new template, they kinda take over the space...lol
Anyways, I hope you enjoy the change, and please feel free to let me know how you feel about it. :)
